As usually, it was a great pleasure to discuss with the students. They start to have more questions for us and it is a great pleasure to reply to them and share about our feelings, our impression about Izmir and Turkey in general, about our hobbies and about our countries.

This moment is getting better and better for us and for the students. We try to put our timidity aside and we are learning about each other everytime a bit more. That make the discussion easier. Those students are great, I really appreciate that moment I can share with them.

1st discussion at school - March 20th, 2015
Aşık Veysel Visually Impaired Primary School is the name of the school where we go every Fridays to have our turkish lesson and to meet blind students.
It is an wornderful experience with me to meet them and learn how they live with their disability. Students, Kasia and myself are very excited about this activity. It is an enjoyable and privileged moment. It is amazing to discover that are extremely confortable with the place, they move so easily, I have a great admiration for them.
We also have to opportunity to learn turkish thanks to a pleasant visually impaired teacher. With the great help of Doğa, one of the mentor, we can improve our language skills and discover this great language. I would not say it is a hard language to learn, however it is difficult for me to pronounce because of my strong french accent.
